The problem
Most companies do not share one authoritative Product Truth
The founder, product team, sales team, website, partners, and delivery teams may each hold a different piece of the answer. Important truths remain undocumented, limitations get softened, assumptions become claims, and knowledge stays trapped in a few people’s heads.
The result is not just inconsistent messaging. Marketing attracts poor-fit buyers, sales pursues deals the product cannot support, technical teams get pulled into avoidable work, and customers inherit expectations that were never realistic.
You cannot build reliable decisions on a truth nobody has written down.
In the room
Turn product knowledge into business decisions
Review and refine your Product Truth Catalog
Start with the catalog you completed in pre-work and pressure-test what the company believes to be true about the product.
Resolve what is unclear, unsupported, or disputed
Identify conflicting beliefs, weak claims, missing evidence, and open questions that need a clear owner or next step.
Define boundaries, dependencies, and limitations
Document where the product stops being a fit, what must be true for it to work, and where results depend on the customer, services, integrations, or other conditions.
Identify the GTM and operational impact
Translate each Product Truth into practical implications for marketing, sales, product, delivery, customer success, and leadership.
Turn product knowledge into business decisions
Use the refined catalog to create qualification rules, messaging guardrails, operating summaries, and a prioritized validation plan.
Outcomes
A Product Truth system your company can use
A refined Product Truth Catalog
A structured record of what the product is, what it is not, what it could be, and what it cannot be, including the why, evidence, conditions, boundaries, dependencies, limitations, and confidence behind each entry.
An executive Product Truth summary
A concise view of the most important truths, disputed areas, risks, and decisions leadership needs to understand.
GTM messaging and qualification guardrails
Clear guidance on what marketing and sales should emphasize, qualify, caveat, pursue, or disqualify based on the agreed Product Truth.
A COO and operational impact summary
A practical view of where unclear Product Truth creates wasted effort, cross-functional friction, delivery risk, or poor resource allocation.
Product, delivery, and customer success implications
Specific takeaways for product, engineering, implementation, and customer success, including dependencies, handoff conditions, recurring gaps, and expectation risks.
A prioritized validation plan
A ranked list of unresolved questions, unsupported claims, and disputed truths, with clear owners and next steps for validating them.
Who it is for
Built for the people responsible for defining and commercializing the product
Technical founders, product leaders, and GTM leaders who need a shared, defensible understanding of what the product is, where it creates value, and where its limits begin.
Founders
Get the Product Truth out of your head and into a form the rest of the company can use to make better decisions.
Product leaders
Clarify capabilities, boundaries, dependencies, real use cases, and unresolved questions before market pressure distorts them.
GTM leaders
Turn Product Truth into stronger qualification, clearer messaging, better prioritization, and fewer wasted cycles on poor-fit opportunities.
Who it is not for
Companies still searching for a product idea
People looking for a passive webinar
Teams expecting a complete messaging system in three hours
Participants unwilling to examine product limitations and conflicting assumptions
Format
A three-hour working session, not a webinar
A hands-on working session combining focused teaching, guided analysis, group discussion, and live feedback. You will arrive with a completed Product Truth inventory and use the session to refine it, resolve disagreements, and turn it into practical business guidance.
Live and interactive on Zoom
First 30 minutes
Frame the Product Truth Method
Establish how Product Truth supports GTM, operations, prioritization, and resource efficiency, and set the standards for evaluating each catalog entry.
Next 45 minutes
Pressure-test the Product Truth Catalog
Review what is known, unclear, unsupported, or disputed, and strengthen the reasoning, evidence, confidence, and conditions behind the most important truths.
Next 45 minutes
Define boundaries and business impact
Clarify limitations, dependencies, customer requirements, and disqualifiers, then identify what those truths mean for GTM and the wider company.
Next 45 minutes
Build the practical artifacts
Turn the refined catalog into executive summaries, GTM guardrails, qualification guidance, operational impacts, and cross-functional takeaways.
Final 15 minutes
Prioritize validation and next steps
Assign owners and next steps to unresolved questions, unsupported claims, and disputed truths that still require validation.
Build your starting Product Truth Catalog
Before the session, you will receive a structured workbook and companion prompt guide. Complete and return the required sections by email so the workshop can focus on interpretation, decisions, and business impact rather than collecting basic product information. Your submission must meet the minimum readiness threshold described in the workbook, including documented statements about what the product is, what it is not, its boundaries, dependencies, limitations, future possibilities, and unresolved or disputed truths.
Apply the work to your company
Every participant receives one private 30-minute follow-up conversation to review progress, clarify an unresolved issue, or discuss how to apply the workshop artifacts inside the company. Your private booking link will be sent after the session.
